Will they help with food , I live an hour away and don't want to risk going that far if they can not help need help with food for me and my kids

They usually have canned goods breads and sweets. On occasion they will give out pizza and bags of meat.

They do but the open door mission in council bluffs is closed until after January 1st, you would need to go to the one in Carter Lake.
