I want the city of Council Bluffs to know what their taxes dollars get when it comes to water main replacement. I live in the Wendy Heights Road neighborhood and I am one of many who pay anywhere from $4500-7000 in property taxes a year. The Council Bluffs Water works hired synder and associates as the engineer to be in charge of our neighborhood water main replacement with Elizabeth Hunter in charge, in return she hired Carley construction to do the water main work. Carley construction left my neighborhood and my yard in particular in shambles for 10 months and now my wall attached to my driveway is on the verge of collapse and all 3 parties involved will not take it seriously. I tried to be patient and understanding but as the months go by my wall continues to get worse and I’m afraid that in the future in will crumble and collapse leaving me with no driveway and major damage to my neighbor next door. After showing multiple photos/videos to Brian (cb water works engineer) and Elizabeth Hunter (Snyder and associates engineer) who he hired as well as Carley construction(Dan Brown Project manager)and having multiple phone calls with a Josh at the water works who will not take the problem seriously I have now lost all patience and I feel I have to elevate the situation. As of August 30th, 2021 a bunch of dirt/ rock has blown out of my wall and a major hole has formed in front of my driveway underneath the concrete. Just to have you see what Wendy Heights Road as a neighborhood pays in property taxes a year, I have averaged every house at $5000 a year with 100 houses roughly that equals $500000 in taxes and we are getting the most piss poor quality of work money can buy who the Cb water works hired.

Got told that because I had to work and couldn't come in until the next day to show id and pay the deposit that me and my one-year-old couldn't have water tonight because my roommate shut it off on us and moved out with no notice.

We do not have a drop box. We remove it a few years ago after it had been broken into a few times. If you call Customer Service at 712-328-1006, they can give you a week extension on the shutoff notice to give you time to mail or drop the payment off at our office. You can also pay on our website at www.cbwaterworks.com. Thank you.

Filling a 10000 gallon pool about how much will that cost ?

We bill in 100 cubic feet or 748 gallons. 10,000 gallons would be 13.37 or 14 units at $3.74 per unit or $52.36 plus sales tax estimated. This does not include your regular usage.
