Hello Jayvee, you may now apply for passport renewal with the Philippine Consulate.
I believe the recommendation is to renew a passport at least 9 months before the expiration- so you’re within that timeframe. Speaking from personal experience in getting a new passport at PCGSF, it took 7 weeks (at the earliest) to schedule an appointment since open slots fill up quickly. Then it took almost another 7 weeks for the passport to be physically delivered to me. So that’s 3.5 months of just “wait” time. That’s something to consider in your travel plans.
