If you’re looking to spend a few days in bureaucratic hell, I suggest trying to get a visa to visit France, which is necessary for stays of longer than 90 days. France has outsourced part of the process to a company called VFS Global, possibly the worst customer service experience ever. In addition, calls to the consulate end up on hold for ten minutes and then get cut off. In the end, we’ve never spoken to anyone and we didn’t get our visas. We’ll have to change our travel plans and shorten our long-planned trip. Just an awful, disappointing experience.

Almost impossible to schedule an appointment, very very difficult to reach them on the phone (don't even try to call after 4PM). When I was finally able to talk to them on the phone, the man was very rude. He didn't even listen to my question and started to tell me that what I was lying, that what I read on the website of the consulate was not on the website consulate... Long story short: be prepared to spend month on something that should take hours...

I prepared a meeting for a new identification card and set an appointment to the offices in SF. Once there, they told me "sorry, the fingerprint machine is not working, you will have to come some other time..." I spent a whole day traveling meaning the time and money invested... and they have the nerve to say that? When you are so stringent about your appointments like "don't come late" and "contact us if you cancel your appointment asap" and "if you file is not complete..." etc...", then you have to make sure the service is actually PROVIDED. Have a plan B for your defective apparatus! AT LEAST, SEND ME A EMAIL OR A PHONE CALL TO TELL ME NOT TO COME BECAUSE THE PRINTING MACHINE IS OUT OF PAPER. Ah la bureaucracies francaise... O Tempora! O mores!

The French Consulate is great in responding to email inquiries. Staff are nice. My Interview proces went smoothly for less than 5mins since my documents were complete. I provided prepaid USPS envelop in that way I don't need to come back to pick up my passport. Visa processing usually takes 5 days. I was interviewed Wed and I got my passport with visa Friday. The Consulate was very efficient!

How do I get a pass sanitaire for France. Have been fully vaccinated in USA
You would need your valid passport , covid vaccination proof, a negative test within 72hours( this information in October, possibly 48 or 24 hours required now), a swore in statement stating that travelers not having any covid symptoms such as fever, coughs, .. This you can obtain on board.
Say pretty please
Yes you could. In private schools, business schools or franchised language schools like "Wall Street Institute". Many possibilities.
Walgreens, CVS, etc. It must be said that it is for a French passport
Yes, they do have a set up for taking your pictures.
You can do it at Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, LA, Miami, NY, San Francisco or Washington, according to the website. You need to be registered in the register (registre des francais établis hors de France), and provide a FedEx label if you want to receive your passport at home.
Yes and No, yes the card is valid for travel, you may also need proof of a negative test upon boarding aircraft. Once in France, you will need a "passe sanitaire" which is a 3rd party (usually a pharmacist or doctor to see your CDC card and upload you into the French Health system and produce a "passe sanitaire" that you can use to go to restaurants, museums, etc
According to Macron's statement, American can visit France starting June 15, 2021 with having a valid PCR test, ( normally 72 hours upon arrival ).
Dude, not much. People in the states have been trying for years. You could maybe put in a complaint but it would largely go unnoticed. If you want to get more involved, you could maybe press charges, but I don't think it would do anything if they weren't physically hurt. I'm sorry. Bonne chance!
Alliance Francis schools are everywhere almost
You need to make an appointment online in one of the required date
I got married in Malaysia and needed to get it "transcribed" at the French embassy. They also gave me a "livret de famille".
If your passport expired less than 5 years ago, you can renew without further proof of citizenship. If longer than that, check out the website, they detail what documents you'd need. Also, note that a birth certificate is valid for 3 months only and you can get a "new" one online for no cost.
Bonjour Madame, Only parking plaques issued by European countries are recognised in France. Best regards.
