My passport expires June 2019, but I have few travels scheduled before that. I want to make those flights but the 6-8 processing time is problem. So my question is, can I still use my current passport (on Nov and Dec) while I apply for a renewal?

What are the requirements or ID to bring for renewing passport

Wina V | Sep 7, 2019

Ghindie, if your passport is to expire in 7 months before your scheduled trips abroad then you’re good.

Hi Ghindie. We have the same situation. I already talked to the Philippine embassy staff and she allowed me to renew my passport even Im still using my old passport (still valid >1 year). Now Im going to surrender my old passport and pick-up the new passport. If you have any questions just let me know.

IMHO This is the wrong place for answers for passport matter this is a review where people give their opinion. Best is to go to their website and take in from there.

Apply now,and show your receipt and current passport at the gate. But go in.
