The Park is open and free year round. however, there is a cost for touring the fort inside,. but doesn't actually look much different than the outside

Actually the pocket self is free to access if you want to tour the fort itself that guided tours only for $12 per adult I think children are free

Entering the park is free, however touring the fort is $12.00 for adults.

If you want to walk around outside thete is no fee, but to get into the fort you have to pay to go on a tour. The firt itself is locked up except for theur tours which i think are daily.
