The children's playground on the east side is ok. The tower and the surrounding trails are filled with broken glass. I had to carry my dog through portions and still ended up with a cut in her paw. Adults on dirt bikes (illegal) ride around the trails as well, watch out. The tower has a gate that is always locked. So no going up the tower for a view. If it wasn't within walking distance I'd likely never go. Only if you need pokestops and a gym.

What a lovely park and a beautiful remembrance to our WWI Veterans. To the Powers of Control, please contact your local service organizations and see if perhaps clean up bees could help out to pick up the garbage.

A very nice and quiet park! There is a nice trail that leads to the memorial tower, but be cautious for broken glass. Wear appropriate shoes as well, there is a little climbing involved. The playground is currently closed but looks fun and clean. Willette's Optical Paradise Approved 👍

The tower path is hidden but once you are able to find it you will be able to appreciate the amazing view from the top of the tower.
