How much does it cost to get a copy of my birth certificate

I have moved out of state and trying to get my son's birth certificate online and have had several unsuccessful attempts. I am making a trip to come straight there to purchase one. I need to know exactly what documents I need for me and him and if this is the only location I can go to to get one or can I go to any health department in Kansas?
