The Kansas State Insurance Commission helped me with filing a complaint against my insurance company who did not want to pay for a life saving/extending procedure. They were extremely helpful, very professional, prompt and friendly. I highly recommend you seeking them out as a resource.

They have always helped me, Non residence agency license and Non residence producers license. I wish MO & Ark was as prompt.

Update: Since my initial review, I was contacted by Lee M, and Mandy R who have been amazing in helping me get all of my licensing issues figured out! They listened to my complaints, explained how they are working to fix the current system and explained all the improvements they are working on to make things easier in the future, they even have been going above and beyond with helping me with carriers! The Kansas Department is in great hands with people like them. Original: This has got to be the laziest and most rude group of people I have ever had to speak with. I have had to call several times to get a simple issue resolved and they were not only no help, they were rude about it too. No one knows anything, no one does anything, this department is utterly useless, and the whole department should be fired.

This place is an absolute joke. Tried to call to report an insurance company who was demanding that their insured use them for new roofs and could not get anybody to call me back no matter how hard I tried

KID BASED THEIR APROVAL OF THE RATE INCREASE ON NON-VETTED DATA PROVIDED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE INSURANCE COMPANY MAY NOT HAVE BEEN SOLEVENT AND SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO MARKET JUNK POLICIES PRODUCTS VIA FALSE PRETENSES TO THE PUBLIC, THE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT FAILED TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC SEEKING TO CAUSE MORE BUSINESS.
Hi, Nathan. Thanks for reaching out. You are correct. Personal Injury Protection (PIP) would cover up to $4,500 per accident for injuries resulting from each accident. It would not cover preexisting conditions, though. For example, if an injury occurred as part of accident 1, and is still being treated when accident 2 occurs, accident 2 would not cover continued treatment for the injury caused by accident 1. Please reach out to our Consumer Assistance Representatives for more information at 800-432-2484.
