HORRIBLE TO KIDS AND FOSTER PARENTS!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!! 0 stars! I was a foster parent with them for two years. Stay away at all costs and go with any other agency - at least if you are in Topeka. If you do go with them, which is ill-advised, document everything and trust no one. My husband and I are service-oriented people. We both served in the USAF and at other positions in state and local government. I am an attorney, but have an inactive license so that I can devote all of my time to fostering (and potentially adopting) children in need. My husband and I have been together for over a decade and have a healthy and loving relationship. My mother, "Grandma," also lives with us, as well as three small dogs. We have the time and resources, as well as the room in our home and hearts, to take great care of these vulnerable children. Sooooo.....you would think this organization would be happy to have us available when the need is so great. Instead, they treated us horribly throughout these two years. Further, they ignored our questions and concerns, our repeated requests for important things for the children, and have even lied to us! Even our homeworker was nice to our faces and then lied behind our backs. I read over our file (you have a right to a copy of your file) and he blatantly lied about important issues! Sadly, the Facebook pages where you can receive a great deal of information about how incredibly bad they are, won't let you join unless already fostering through KVC...and then it is too late!!! Sure, you can transfer to another agency, but they may make that hard, might take away your kids, etc. They are bad, all the way up to their director.

This place don't care about truth. All they care about is keeping your kids so they can get paid. When you try to talk w supervisor they email your lawyer saying if you keep emailing them they will try to find something to use against you. The so called team will split your babies up and try to make you do so many task just to see your kids and for you to get them home were they belong. Their logo keep children and families together is a lie. As many gov agencies backing my family including foster care protection and prevention,they don't care. They want to fish into your personal life to see if they can find something because the person who wrote the b.s. on you isnot credible. KVC is not were you want your babies. They really don't care. Not even supervisors. The families that shouldn't have their kids taken away should be together, when there is so much proof.

My kids in care until the class action lawsuits is finished. Been in care since 2015 for a no due cause fall thru the crack cnc case. I beat up molester and the original report was exaggerated and falsified so here were are... Kid weekly asking to go home ND stalemated as with no progress. Mine is 1in 7 of these cases. Guess funding is more important thanks Kvc for caring about my kid!🤬

If I could rate KVC at a 0 I would! They have no care at all for the children they are supposed to be taking care of or their foster parents! They would rather take care of criminals than the people who take care of them!
