Young buffoon behind the counter had the typical passive aggressive dmv worker attitude. She ended up charging my card $900 when she should have only charged it $150.
If I have leased a vehicle and have now bought the vehicle, do I have to pay the full amount again when my renewal is in Nov and it's May or do I just pay for a new license plate??

You have to title the vehicle in your name. Until now it belonged to the leasing company.
You'll turn in your lease tag for a refund and you will have to get a new tag. So yes, you'll pay again but get back the money that was left on your old tag.

There is a form your doctor has to fill out. It will have the reasons on it.

You can still get a title it's just going to show that you have a lien against it.

It is $10 if you order it from the County and the State mails the title to you. If you go to Kansas Vehicle Title Services at 37th and Burlingame it is currently $25 and they will print the title and hand it to you.
There like Mc Donalds they even give you change lol. Sorry this stupid thing came up because I go there so often asked if I could help the public? So I just thought I'd throw it out there LOL

Offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30. No new titles are accepted in after 4 pm. If there is a high ticket volume, they will cut off walk in titles earlier than 4 but will still honor scheduled title appointments. They don't cut off renewals early, just titles.
