I had my second child here via c-section in May of 2022. If I was having another baby anytime soon, would not return because their nursery has been taken over by the NICU as they renovate, so space is extremely limited. Every night was a total crapshoot if we would be able to get my newborn in there for a few hours so I could get some sleep which was a priority for me. A lesser complaint is that my room, 201, was right next to an administrative section and the women working there were so loud I could literally hear them through ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones, so between that and nurses' visits I got very little sleep while I was healing from a c-section. Finally, the furniture in the rooms seems to be deliberately uncomfortable, making it hard for a partner to spend the night or even just hang out during the day without getting a debilitating back ache. On the other hand, all but one of the nurses was very good. A shout-out to Tina B, Helen S, Raquel, Hadeel and Paulina (travelling nurse) in particular for being so caring and warm and helpful. The food is fine. The lactation consultant was helpful, prompt, and respectful of my decisions.

I have been on a waiting list for two weeks to be induced. I have gestational diabetes and my doctor told me that she would have liked to induce me at week 39. I had a scheduled appointment 2 days ago and I currently keep getting pushed back. So far my husband and I keep having to call the hospital and leave a voicemail message with zero phone calls from the nurses or staff with feedback or updates. This is just unacceptable and very, very disappointing. Im praying that my baby is ok as we go past his due date and I’m scared to even witness the actual treatment from this hospital when I finally get admitted. Very unorganized and yes understaffed. Not an excuse for not communicating with the patient.

I am a patient of this place, but this time of my visit I was attended by a girl at the counter, not very friendly and professional, they have to train them to be cordial, kind and with a better attitude.

It was not open to visitors over the weekend. I doubt it will change anytime soon. Most entrances are closed to control entry.

Can anyone that had a baby here tell me if you have to share a room at anytime?
