I have a group of 26 people. We are told that we can't separate the check even though we are family from all over. Upon inquiry we are told we can do groups of four. We are not asking for any discount. What's going on?

Seems like they are making a decision that is pragmatic on their end, but a pain for you. If they make to many separate checks on a group that large, almost any server WILL make mistakes.

It is peobablt because rhat is a lot for one waitress at 26, and breaking it up the is difficultvas orders are submitted electronically. Its all about timing of the dood and service.
