Can the public buy the things in the store or do your need to show an I’d that your work in the law or medicine field

Pretty much anyone. Nothing from an agency without their authorization, but the generic stuff is far game. They won't sell a custom badge unless you are a police, fire, paramedic or legitimate business performing security.

Anyone is able. My buddy was there not too long ago and he was able to get hand cuffs, and a few holsters.

Open to public. Most items do not require special permit to buy. You need to be legit law enforcement personnel to acquire badges for police etc. Or you maybe asked to show proof working for lisenced security company.
