I called June 24th and June 30th because I have been waiting for my work uniform (that I got fitted for on June 8th) so I can report to work properly dressed. I have been rudely addressed by a woman that it takes 5-6 weeks for it to be delivered to the store and that my order had not been submitted for delivery until I had called the first time on June 24th. I know that she lied to me because I went on the same day with one of my friends that's, also, an officer and she picked her uniform up, already. Your job duty entails that you provide work uniform to officers and in a timely matter, and with customer service. Not to lie to officers and provide garbage service because you hate your job.

I have been to this store many years ago when I was a reserve PD and they had the normal selection of generic products. The customer service back then was okay at best. Hasn't changed much now. So after recently retiring from an East Bay department, I decided to try this place rather than trek all the way to Adamson's in Livermore. Looking to replace my specific body armor carrier and inserts, lights and other gear. Staff are not very knowledgeable or stay updated on latest gear. Their store is catering to the academy students/grads and local PD's which is fine, but I was not even acknowledged as a customer until after they took care of several off duty officers that came in after me. I approached them with some polite questions and small talk about their body armor selections (which was limited to begin with) and what gear I was looking for and was kind of brushed off because they had no clue. I think they even doubted I was LE. When I asked if they could custom order body armor and the pricing, I was told, "sure" but they would have to research what I'm looking for and notify me. Haven't heard from them after several months. I guess they are doing fine without my business and will make the extended drive to LC Action and Adamson's

Always a positive experience shopping at Peninsula Uniforms. Great inventory and excellent customer service. Got uniform fitted, alterations done and out the door in less than 30 minutes during lunch hour. Highly recommended!
