Can I get a cortisone shot at the urgent Care?

That's a good question. Im not sure, but such a treatment without a personal doctor's consent would be unusual at best.

I'm having sciatica due to a pitch nerve on my back. I'm wondering if urgent care give cortisone shot or should I go straight to ER. I was hoping to avoid the copay in the ER. Thanks in advance!
