UPDATE: I asked the crew this morning AT SIX AM to stop throwing things (I literally was watching them throw pallets) and the guy repeated as Loudly and as fast as he could so he could talk over me “talk to the manager I don’t care. Talk to the manager I don’t care.” Like all you had to do was not throw it….. and the manager isn’t there at 6 am funnily enough and their phone number doesn’t work. This isn’t a review on food, but about other issues the employees intentionally caused. I live not even 30 ft away from the back of the grocery store in the apartments. The warehouse crew who works from 4am on in the mornings is so terrible with noise I can’t sleep anymore. Even though there’s a noise ordinance until 8am they don’t seem to care. I’ve asked the warehouse crew a few times to stop throwing pallets and screaming so loud but they laugh in my face like I’m a “Karen”. I’m just trying to sleep. Im considering calling the city because this is unacceptable. 100’s of people live here with their windows shut at night not enjoying a breeze (we don’t have AC) because these men are being so loud.

Stopped by while running errands.. finally figured out that a breakfast burrito here is just Meat, Salsa, Beans and Rice (no eggs or cheese).. knowing that made it a far supperior burrito)

I would personally give this store a really bad experience because of the people working there. I have been shopping at Cárdenas market for a long time and on 8-4-22 the person named Leticia began to verbally offend me. She just came out of nowhere and got into a conversation I had with my family member. I think that if I go there to do my groceries is because I’m supposed to feel comfortable and welcomed in that place because I go there to buy and not get things for free. If you, as owners of a market, want to have staff with a very bad character where they treat the person as if they are going to get things free, then they should make the entrance private or put a sign in front so that each person who arrives knows what to expect ones they enter the Cardenas market.

On 3/20/22 I went to Cardenas (20812 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward CA) to buy turkey breast ham. I asked the Deli Clerk lady for one pound of turkey breast ham. She said that they don’t have turkey breast ham. The turkey breast ham was just in front of me(inside of the deli refrigerator) I pointed to the ham and I told her that the turkey breast ham was there and she said that she couldn’t sell me the ham because she cleaned the food slicer. I asked what time does the store close and she answer “at 10:00 pm.” I looked at my watch and was 8:50 pm. I went to the front cashier and I requested to talk to the manager. The manager Leticia walked with us to the Deli department and asked the Deli clerk lady why she couldn’t sell us ham and she said: “because I cleaned the food slicer.” The manager said, “she cleaned the food slicer and we can’t sell you the turkey breast ham.” We asked if that is normal to not sell to customers the product even though they have the product? She answered, “yes, that is normal,” We told her that we will file a complaint. Leticia (the manager) laughing answered, “I don’t care, do whatever you want, this is not the first time that a customer files a complaint with my supervisor” she left us there and went to the corner to talk to the Deli Clerk lady and they were laughing. Is very disappointed to have to face unprofessional people who can’t handle a simple situation. Apparently, Leticia is used to customers filing complaints about her unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. I would like to see Cardenas Market Policy which says that products can’t be sold to customers during business hours.

I like the improvements they have made!
I agree
Oops, that bad vibes, and there are always many people in that department and few personnel, even so, it is not the attitude nor the answer
Mi pueblo over charges and when you speak English to them they get mad at you if they hear you speak Spanish to someone else
I've been buying meat from these guys for quite a while now. I'm not a Hispanic man but I really do I'm not a Hispanic man but I really do like their seasonings and the quality of meat. I like getting the yellow seasoned chicken for tacos and I really enjoy their flap meat. But they have two different kinds of flat meat get the more expensive one and has a better flavor. Apparently the more expensive one is grown and the US the other one is grown on a different kind of feed that makes it taste kind of weird. I hope that helps
Morning!!!
We went there for basa fillet and they didn't have any. We did notice most of the fish there was frozen not fresh. Can't give a more thorough comment.
I believe they are made somewhere else but they are always fresh. This is the best question to ask, Quien hace Los tamales? That means who made the tamales?
Yes
I'm like 95% sure they have it. But you can call the store to be 100%.
