I don't understand why so many people like this place, for me this place is nightmare, I pay big money only to get a unit super noisy, the community center gym AC fan super noisy right below my windows I cannot open windows (yes it works 24 hours per day, intermittently), and the wall/floor super thin there is essentially no soundproof against your noisy neighbors. My upstairs neighbor uses his subwoofer, and plays movie loudly, and they walk loudly without slippers, and shutting doors, etc. Maybe I am just very very unlucky get the very very bad neighbor (However, according to the manager she never received complaints about that neighbor, are you kidding me, subwoofer? Maybe the previous tenant was deaf? but he should feel the vibration should he not?). If you have to live here please choose the 3rd floor units and try to stay away from the community center, stay away from the bart train. Leasing manager is indeed seemingly friendly and always smiling, probably the only highlight for this community, but the unit is disastrous. Does not worth the price. Don't be fooled by the appearance, even though the buildings look nice they are of very poor quality.

Best apartment complex to rent. Safest community at downtown Hayward. Best service and amenities provided. Lease is too costly. Ample parking space. As its name says, 'City centre' everything is on the walkable distance. Bart station is adjacent to the compound of city centre.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. RANDOMLY TOW UP TO 3 CARS A NIGHT ALL THE WAY TO NEWARK. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. Lived here for over 4 years and woke up to my car being towed. Over 300 dollars later I'm getting it back. In an area with no posted warnings. This place goes through managers anually. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance crew. They offer 3 bedroom apartments but only allow 2 people to own cars unless they want to be randomly towed and oh yeah if you have guests over they have to Uber Lyft BART or come with you. ALL THIS AND NO A/C IN THE UNITS THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

Pros: Maintenance people are quick to fix and extremely nice and friendly (That's the best part). Close to BART Walking distance to downtown Cons: Close to BART Never any guest parking, other residents hog spaces using their garage cars to take the sparse guest parking. They tried to correct this with parking permits but people who have garages use their garage tags to take/hold guest parking spaces. Parties occur in garages, management doesn't care below living rooms. Management personnel has changed several times over the three years I've lived there, never a familiar face. I've personally complained twice about my above neighbor BBQing with charcoal (not allowed) in his garage which is above my living room, an extreme fire hazard. Management doesn't care they tell you to call security but they are never there. Some neighbors rule the area and management doesn't do anything to change it. Example: Some cars left in spaces for several days don't get towed but others are told to be moved every three days or they will get towed. If you do not pay your 90.00 utilities for Water, Garbage & Sewage, they will threaten you with a 3 day eviction notice. Security is make believe. Very Expensive - $$$$ for not a lot.
