Signed up with this school and passed my test 3 weeks later. These guys were super nice and explained exactly what to expect the day of my test. I work full time and was able to come and go whenever my schedule allowed. I've met some really cool people thru this school and had a great time!

Being new to the trucking industry, I didn't know what I was looking for. I visited a few schools around the bay area and I felt extremely out of place and lost. Most of the schools were just straight forward and seemed like they didn't have the time for you unless you had the money up front, along with the soonest start date a month to even 2 months later. When I finally reached California Trucking School in hayward, I was approached and greeted with a warm welcome. They didn't make me feel out of place and they were very informative about everything that was needed. One thing I did notice was that all the other schools were quite pushy on me signing up right on spot. But here they gave me information and made me feel like I can take my time on deciding on joining. From there I was able to start a few days after. The instructor are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. and in this school, it is encouraged to support and help each other out. not only did I pass and receive my class A. I've gain some friends who i know will be some day 1's in my new career field! p.s. If you do join, (this goes with everything in life) don't be afraid to ask questions! Thanks again everyone at California Trucking! I appreciate everything you guys help me with!

I didn't know what to expect from this school but all I can say is a good school. In my personal situation I was able to pick up the skills training and learning how to drive shift stick pretty quick but from what I hear in average it takes about 1 1/2 month to finish maybe more. But overall this is a good school. They provide you with tools to succeed on your test, mainly trucks to practice with in decent condition. But the one thing I take away the most is how patient they are yo teach you, you don't feel rush, at least I didn't. Lastly just some tips, take your time to study the pre trip. Once you get all 3 skills after a couple tries doing it perfectly, it will become second nature. But the pre trip takes a bit longer to learn fully. Slow down AND STAY UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT AT ALL TIMES😅
