My children and I was looking for a fresh start and thanks to Alvista at the bridge we are getting it. We are enjoying are stay so far so GREAT. I am very grateful for the leasing office team and Dominique. Dominique was very professional and patience with us. Every time I called the office, I got an answer and understanding to any question I may have had. Dominique showed me server different units into I find the one that was best for my family. My kids and I feel safe and happy here thank you for your support. We love Hayward!

I was looking for a new place to stay in Hayward so I can be closer to my job. When I scheduled a walk thru I met a man named Dominique who gave me the best tour of a couple units that were available. Dominique made the experience great with his humor and longtime knowledge of the surrounding area. I appreciated the tour and it definitely made me keep them in my options moving forward with a new place to call home !

You’re getting what you pay for. - Leasing office is notoriously unresponsive, so many time trying to get anybody to answer the phone or respond to you in person but once they have your signed lease they don’t respond to anything. One time while my carbon monoxide alarm was going off I couldn’t get maintenance or the front office on the phone, submitted tickets online which got no response, and I stood at the leasing office knocking on the door while they were inside standing there ignoring everything around them. Truly terrible service. - Record all interactions with them and save all documentation from them. After moving out I have been unable to get a properly addressed check for the return of my deposit since they “conveniently” lost the most recent lease agreement that I signed which included only myself and not my old roommate. As a result they have been unresponsive to sending a properly addressed check that could actually be cashed, this is after months of trying to get somebody from Alvista to even respond to my questions. - The rent that you’re sold on may seem low but they get you with all the extra costs. “Valet” trash pickup which you’re forced to pay for, that’s supposed to happen every night, you’ll be lucky if they pick yours up once/week. Trash and water bills that they claim reflects your usage is laughable. You can leave 0 bags out there every week and you’d be charged the same as if you left 20. You can use no water at all and be charged the same as if you left all your faucets running 24/7. Along with paying them for your parking space you get to pay another company for your permit to park in said space. Basically, if they advertise something like 2400/month for the apartment you can expect your real cost to be 2700-2800/month, there’s much better places around for that kind of money. - They claim to be secure with their gate but it’s almost always open. - Never believe that new management has changed things, they went through multiple management companies while I rented and nothing ever changed.

Save yourself the trouble, and stay away from this apartment community. If you are getting a "good price", this is why: 1) The new management is worse than the old one. The leasing office is extremely unresponsive. It's been two months since we moved out, and are still waiting on the refund of our security deposit. Calls are routed to voicemail ALL THE TIME, which is always full. On the off chance that they do answer a call, the agent Brenda keeps saying we should receive the refund in a couple days, and it's been two months already! The manager is never available cos he seems to always be "in a meeting". Also, ensure you check the final statement on move-out. If you need to receive any prorated rent along with your security deposit, the leasing office conveniently forgets about it. It's on you to remind them. 2) The apartments are below average at best. The ventilation inside bathrooms is so bad, that there is mold. The kitchen counters and walls have gaps that run through them, and you will see spiders and insects like silver fish crawl out of them. Forget about any requests for pest control. Just like the security deposit refund, the pest control will arrive in a couple days (which never happens, good luck waiting). 3) The security at this community is pretty much non-existent. They have gates which can be accessed by code, but surprise! the gates are wide open most of the time. So if you're okay with sharing your space with drifters and inebriated homeless folk, this community is just the right place. 4) The maintenance team at Alvista is okay. They can usually fix most household repairs on the first visit. But if they fail to, like fixing a leaking toilet tank, they will ignore any follow up maintenance requests. Oh, don't bother reaching out to the leasing office regarding this, they are of no help as usual. 5) This place is notorious for having guest vehicles towed. A visit from family or friends will easily set them back by $400-$500 in towing charges. When it comes to Alvista at the Bridge, you get what you pay for. The experience is not worth the low prices they have to offer. One year here was enough, never going back (except for getting our security deposit back!).

There is no storage here there is one tiny closet out on the patio or deck but no closets no linen closet one bedroom closet per room and the kitchen is Tiny. Don't rent move on
It was quite before but since my neighbor upstairs moved in, it’s like you’re living in the gym all the time, they’re like jogging 24/7. And then next door just moved in 2 or 3 months ago and they’re music is full blast the whole day and night, you can’t even sleep anymore.

Nothing, new management but they suck. The garbage is a big issue because tenants pay extra for garbage service but they never collect everyday so you have garbage pile up at the front door for days, sometimes 3 days .
If you talk to the right person in the office, they quickly attend to your need
