It's worth every penny. Be there early to get on tour. Sells out quick! No flash photography! Original Whitehouse furniture is here. John Adams bought it & took it home with him!!!! Adams family library is stunning. Heads up original John Adams 4,000 books are at Boston public library! Still worth every step you take!!!!

$10, unless you have an NPS pass. There are varying levels, the$20 annual pass works at every NPS site in the nation. You can purchase one online or at the John Adams site, first stop of the tour. They take cash & CC's; some NPS sites only take cash, but if you have a pass, away you go! Enjoy! On edit: as you look around his first home, and ask questions! The NPS staff are great.I saw a trident/spear contraption. I had to ask what it was because it looked like an old weapon; turns out it was an eel spear. While in the area, if you get the chance to go to Lexington and Concord, do it. It's a great way to see how the war began and how the Colonists ripped the Regulars to pieces as they retreated back to Boston. NPS, as always are very helpful.

You have to take the tour, but it is worth doing.

The only way you can visit is by tour. The other answer is wrong. The last tour begins around 3:15. Yes, it costs, but it is a lovely tour.

Trolley/ bus tour. You get to meet John Adams. Go across the street from the visitor center to the churh and see Adams tomb in the basement

There is no charge to get into Peacedale but the other 2 houses cost money to get into. The best bet is take the $10 trolley tour to all three.
