It was our pleasure to have a very dedicated tour guide. The tour was educational so worth the time.

We took the tour, and it was well worth it. The park rangers were so professional, passionate and informative. I would highly recommend taking the tour and spending some time on the grounds.

How awesome is it that these homes are still available to tour. Thank you National Parks Service for keeping parts of our nation's history alive.

After reading David McCullough's book on John Adams I developed a burning desire to see his home(s). I was already predisposed to admire him after watching the movie based on the musical 1776 that showcases John Adams' tenacity in promoting independence. HBO's miniseries John Adams was fascinating. The world would be a better place if people were more civic-minded and less self-centered and needy. How fortunate his homes were not razed ... like John Hancock's.

The building isn't open but you can park on the side street (free) and walk around the outside.
I think you can just go the home, but it is closed until spring. If you go now, you can walk around the outside and see almost nothing. The center is open which is in town. There is parking in a garage at the end of the street but will look like you shouldn't park there. They will validate your parking in the visitors center.
It's worth every penny. Be there early to get on tour. Sells out quick! No flash photography! Original Whitehouse furniture is here. John Adams bought it & took it home with him!!!! Adams family library is stunning. Heads up original John Adams 4,000 books are at Boston public library! Still worth every step you take!!!!
Quincy Center is the closest but that is still at least a mile or two away.
