River Ventures has pontoon boats. When researching other companies, didn't see any glass bottom. Did see other companies while out on the water, River Ventures has the nicest boats.
No glass bottom boats, it is all about getting in and swimming with them. You can see them from the boat if you have a non swimmer, but to be honest, it is 100% better if the non swimmer puts on a wet suit and has several noodles and enjoys them coming up to you for real :)

No. Some parts areclear other areas where the manatees are is murky
The water is very clear and you can see the manatees by simply looking over the side, but the best part is actually getting into the water to see all the fish and manatees. It's an incredible experience and we're planning our trip back for this January. Might actually make it an annual visit from Canada.
None that we saw. We rode on a pontoon boat to where the manatee were then swam.
