A huge thank you for taking care of our Aunt. Due to her Alzheimer’s & Brain Stem Stroke we are unable to care for her in our home. CR Health & Rehab have been excellent in helping with paperwork and making her comfortable, and taking her into their long term care. The staff are wonderful, and keep us updated on everything from her activities, diet and care plans. This place is clean, friendly and welcoming. Again, thank you for the care you are giving our Aunt.

If I could give this place a minus 1 or zero I would. The staff on the south wing are rude and uncaring. There is no compassion to this and I feel my mother had horrible care towards the end of her life. I get that COVID is running rampant, but to almost have to get Law Enforcement involved because a nurse calls and states you should come see your mom she is declining and then we get there and they state the Govennor has rules, you can't go in. BULL.. also they stated that there in no visitation from 7pm on. So no person dies from 7pm until 8am? also was told they could not get her meds from Hospice so they had to use an emergency kit. They states.. whats the problem at least she got the meds! Really?? My mother passed away on a Saturday night.. the Hospice nurse called from her personal phone. Not one person from the facility has contacted me to say she passed away, or to offer condolances even, I contacted administration on Monday afternoon and he is to get back with me to arrange for me to pick up her belongings. . This is the second review I have written as the social worker asked me to take the last one down as they were trying to work things out. This review will stay

My dad has been a resident for a few years now. I never thought having him a nursing home would be a positive experience, but it has been wonderful. This really has been a home, and the staff his family. He had been in other assisted living facilities prior and Crystal River Health and Rehab have far surpassed them with the quality of integrated care, exceptional communication and great food (which we all know is the most important part). I am grateful beyond words to the family we have made in this amazing place. Eternally grateful.
