Small but comfortable plus you can take a shower.

Uso at LAX is for active duty personnel with ID and family while travelling. Retirees with ID are welcome from 4am to 10 pm. Yes there are showers and chaise lounges for sleeping. The new center that opened in July 2018 is open 24/7. I don't consider it small, but it's relative.

Just to add clarity on Dirk van de Bunt's answer ... Retirees may bring dependents into the USO due hours retirees are allowed (4am-10pm) His answer was: Uso at LAX is for active duty personnel with ID and family while travelling. Retirees with ID are welcome from 4am to 10 pm. Yes there are showers and chaise lounges for sleeping. The new center that opened in July 2018 is open 24/7. To piggyback on Joey, yes, the lounge itself is on the smaller side, but they will let you snooze anywhere. I was stuck there in transit from being on orders and I slept in the corner chair of the theater. All the lounge chairs are fairly comfortable. Safe travels!

Yes, they have a sleeping lounge but it's small....you can sleep on the comfortable chairs they have as well
