On the website it says they open at 5am and the gate opens at 8am. What's the difference? So does that mean we have to be there by 5 to make sure we have a good spot?

Whenever I go the lagoon opens at 11am. If it's a weekend you probably want to get there early to get a spot, otherwise it doesn't really matter
