This place of worship has a dark cloud over it with a lack of direction. For those of you who have attended this place of worship in the past it is obvious, whilst new members do not know what it was like before. Starting with Pastor Strange. When someone attends an occasion it is obvious to dress nicely. As a Pastor it is not respectful in a place of worship to wear denim and athletic shoes. This is a place of worship and standards apply. Pastor Strange is not a natural leader and it is obvious due to the lack of direction and certain staff members that need to be replaced. Will get into that on a moment. The delivery and style of this Pastor is predictable: examples of significant other coupled with the mentioning of kids and so called funny moments. Then at the end of each important message letting out a peculiar physical motion and weird sound. This was the wrong choice for lead Pastor. A Pastor needs to have the respect of its members and not wear denim and athletic shoes because it is very disrespectful. The Pastor who should have been the main Pastor is Pastor Tyler. The original Pastor Vold is still part of this place of worship is not the same individual who first took over. Pastor Vold needs to get back to being Pastor Vold. Obviously Pastor Vold made choices. Again Pastor Tyler has never changed and is a better leader than Pastor Strange. Now to the staff. The legs of this place of worship relies on the individuals who make important decisions. There are two individuals that to be replaced to start. One is AJ the other is Carnnela. These two individuals are the weak legs of this place of worship and guaranteed that the demise of this place of worship will happen sooner than later based on staff and leadership. Input means everything and understanding history is another and that is where these individuals fail. The proof in part is attendance. Covid is not to blame anymore. More members have left. This place worship was a full place with light and direction and has turned into into a a pillar of darkness. The Easter service was the worst Easter service in the history of this place of worship and had the darkest ending. The music ministry is lacking and the members dress sloppy. There no passion in the music and it is obvious. For this place of worship to be successful again it needs to get back to basics by remembering what and how to use what worked and not conform to modern liberalism. What good is it if members only serve members. The small groups need to be done away with because this place of worship cannot monitor the toxicity of some of the so called group leaders. It must be noted that this will either be permanent or not until then.

3 Crosses Church (formerly Neighborhood Church) has been my foundation since 1968. Sound Biblical teaching, Christ-centered.

we just got through seeing Mary Poppins. This was an excellent production. The cast was on point and so professional. I will definitely be back to visit to see more place and to visit their Church

We had been searching for a church for a long time that made us happy every Sunday, we looked forward to going because of the love of god and the pastors message and passion. We absolutely love this church we have been going since Jan and recently joined. Highly recommended for families with kids. The messages are family friendly and the Bible is posed in way to tie the back to your BUSY and modern life.

Although it was a popular place for skateboarders at one time because of the many stairs, railings, and cement retainer walls that make up the campus. The church campus was even listed in some of the popular skateboarder magazines at the time (early-mid 2000's). However, the church has to put a stop to the public skateboarding due to the property damage it caused. For a time, as an alternative, there was an outdoor courtyard area between the "Port 'O Call" and the old chapel that was fixed up with wooden ramps for skateboarders which was open for the public during certain supervised hours. So I guess that was considered a skateboard park.

All humans are God's children. The folks driven out were the offspring of the same stock as the Jews but fell away before Abraham's descendants which led to the Jews.

Formerly known as Neighborhood Church of Castro Valley, the name changed about 3 years ago to 3Crosses since most people recognized the church by the three 100+ foot tall white crosses near the bend in Hwy 580.
The church is 50 years old, though it hasn't always been in the Castro Valley location. 3Crosses is non-denominational but Bible based and focused on following Jesus. Focused on life transformation through following Jesus Christ.
The traditional service times are in the morning there are some evening pray meetings and special services. Come visit there are a lot of small groups and community groups that meet 7 days a week at all times.
If the question is, do they have services today?, then the answer is no. There are no services on thanksgiving day.
It starts at 11AM and runs until 2:30pm
