Golden State Pet Crematorium

Our beloved dog Simba passed away on 4/27/21 my uncle took him to Golden State crematorium they said it will take 3 days to get him back, we paid private cremation and bought an engraved urn. 3 days passed and we called to find out if he was ready, nobody answered or returned the calls. My uncle showed up on Monday to ask for our pet and they said someone already picked him up on Friday and they even showed the initials on the paperwork which were not my uncle’s initials. Turned out they gave our dog’s ashes to another family who didn’t even order an urn for their dog and with a totally different last name. When they called the family they couldn’t bring our dog’s ashes back right away, they told us it will take another 2 days (sounded fishy to me, maybe they gave us just any other ashes) because they lived out of town. We got the ashes finally 3 days later with doubts about it, after having to go through so much pain with the illness of our beloved dog of 10 years on top we had to go through the pain of loosing his ashes. I just think is totally insensitive from their part not taking the adequate steps to make sure each family receive the respect they deserve through this rough times. They are not taking our pets seriously they are treating them just like any other number.

They provide awesome service. Haley was super helpful and accommodating. He answered all questions with patience and compassion. It made the most difficult time of losing our beloved one a little easier.
