My cat stayed one night and was infested with fleas when that's what I took him for. They tried to charge me for the same treatment twice plus a flea bath. They told me he came in that way. I finally got the vet to admit that that they would have done a flea bath the day before if it was that bad. They put them all in the same room I guess? Anyway if it's the only option you have then do it but look around first
I wouldn't either. There are plenty of actual pet care facilities meant to serve as daycare for pets. Your pet will likely be stressed when you pick it up because they will keep your pet in a tight cage next to everyone else's pets. The other poster's cat likely picked up fleas from an animal they didn't check well enough. At the worst, I would go to adopt and shop and ask them to hold your pet for you. I adopted my cat there, and they held him for a few days when I had to take a trip. Otherwise shoot for a real pet daycare for sure.
