I have been going to this vet for 10 years and not once has it been a pleasant experience. Today I arrived for my cat's scheduled 3:00pm drop-off. I was told that they were overwhelmed (they are always overwhelmed somehow) and I could expect a call from the vet at 5:30pm. They close at 6:00pm. I called at 5:50pm, having not heard from anyone. I was 1) kept on hold, 2) HUNG UP ON while on hold, and then finally 3) received simultaneous calls from both the vet and the receptionist with a litany of excuses about everything from being understaffed to not being able to find my cat's chart (!!). Now, I will admit, I did not respond in a calm or rational way to this news. I have an anxiety disorder which was shoving my mind into some very dark places, but that doesn't justify raising my voice or getting short with the staff. To the staff, I apologize for my conduct. That being said, these issues are systemic and have been going on for a long time. You'll see plenty of replies from the hospital here claiming that people's bad experiences are outliers that will be addressed right away, but I haven't seen any evidence of that. From shady practices railroading pet owners into unnecessary expensive tests and treatments to inexcusable disorganization and lack of communication, all the stories you see here are true and have been true since long before their corporate acquisition. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Since the practice changed doctor. It hasn't been the same. Wait times are ridiculous. I was on hold for about 45 minutes just to book an appointment. They definitely need to get organized and handle the drop off and pick up of pets in a more efficient manner . If you're looking for a good veterinarian clinic keep looking because this isn't it.

I took my dog there because of diarrhea and blood in the stool. They ran a fecal examination and told me that they would have the results in 24 hours. After 24 hours, still with no results, I ended up calling to check and see if there was any update. The man who answered the phone told me that the results had come in and that the doctor would be reaching back out. I asked if the results showed worms, and he said yes but that the doctor would call to discuss. 24 hours after that, still hadn’t heard from the doctor so I decided to call again. On this call, a young woman answered and told me that the results showed no parasites even though her colleague had told me the opposite. I asked to speak to the doctor and they told me that she wouldn’t be back until Thursday. Eventually I was transferred to someone else who told me that the doctor was not going to reach out for a negative result and that this was common practice. As a pet owner, just trying to make sure his pet isn’t sick, I felt that this was unprofessional and irresponsible as a medical practitioner to not reach back out. When people go in for a cancer diagnosis or any medical procedure, the doctor still reaches out if it is a negative result. On principle I will never take my dog to this veterinary office again.

Called to make an appointment and got one next day which was great. However, the require pet owners to "drop off" their pets for >2 hours, and a $75 deposit. When I called to cancel because I realized my pet is too stressed to be dropped off, I was told the deposit was non-refundable. I told them I did not know that at the time of the appointment - then put on hold indefinitely. Called back and another rep cancelled the apt no issues. Bad business practice - would not do business with them.

I seen a guy with a massive iguana. There. You should call . There open know.
Better to phone the office to get an estimate, or locate a clinic that specializes in canine dentistry.
You have to make an appointment first, which is the consultation, and it depends on what type of vaccine. But an average of $ 50.
Give them a call when they're open and ask.
Please see the answer provided on your initial question
Hi Rachel, It's going to depend on how bad the bite is, what condition your pet is in when you bring them in, and the size of your pet if medications or anesthesia are necessary.
50 60 bucks
I would never take another animal to this hospital they are inhumane over priced greedy greedy greedy.
They do not. They will cut nails but they charge extremely ridiculous prices (for all services to be exact)
They also charge an $85 "emergency fee" for walk-in's
Thank you for your inquiry. We no longer provided grooming. The price for vaccinations depends on your pets age and which immunizations are needed. Please call the front desk for more specfic info. 323 735 0291
I don't know if they do but just call them to ask
Im sorry we dont work with hamsters. You can try wilshire animal hosptial in santa monica
I've never seen any post operative pup patients waiting for that over the years that my doggies have been patients. They do spaying, neutering and many other life saving, necessary surgeries and the doctors and staff there are all excellent! Ear cropping an animal on the other hand is selfish, painful and barbaric and there are no benefits to having that done. As a dog owner, please think beyond yourself and reconsider altering your dogs cosmetic appearance.
Thas great hospital and personal too
Best thing to do is to give them a call and ask!
My cat got all his shots (3 or 4) here for under $90. Not sure the price difference for dogs but now you have ballpark idea of the vaccine pricing
I bet they know! Give them a call when they open...
Hello Evelyn, I am the administrator at Washington Dog and Cat Hospital. Can you please clarify what you mean by down payment?
Good question. Dont even try going to that pet hospital that wanted to charge me almost $400 for spaying my cat! I went to this other place and they did it for $87 .... for same sh** t procedure. Western ave, and 18 st. In Los angeles.
We do not
You can get puppy package for $231 I believe, which includes first rabies shot
Betweens 135.00 to 175.00...Dr Wong and Dr Barron are awesome Vets
I suggest you to call them first but they accepted my pet as walk in one time.
Hello, one question is that the clinic is low-income since my puppy was bitten yesterday and we went to a clinic and they charge us 1750 and the truth is that we don't have them, only yesterday we paid 300 oh or does anyone know of something economical thank you God bless you
