I have a Tesla model S with Arachnid tires. One of them has a leak. Can I take my car to a regular service station or do I need to make an appointment for service with Tesla?

As I understand it, there may be some special equipment needed. I tried to change or maybe rotate some tires at a Costco and they didn't have the equipment at the time. This was 3 years ago. Also there may be some special electronic hookups to consider for the low tire light, etc. I'd go with Tesla. You don't want this screwed up. I believe you can now get this service at your home by Tesla. I'd sign up for that and when the technician comes out, ask her/him what your options are the next time. We've had Teslas since 2012 and plenty of flats, and cracked and damaged rims. At least some of those times we had to have it flat bedded to a Tesla service center. Service has changed a lot over the years. Good luck.

Tesla is fully capable of doing any required work on your tires from rotations to replacement. You can take them elsewhere too if you want. If you're not sure you can request an appointment in the app and it should give you an estimate before they show up if you're given a mobile appointment or if you're assigned a service center appointment.
