Looking for a tail light was a nightmare. All the sites had parts that did match. One call and I had the part!

DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR BIKE! This service center does not honor their 90-day warranty. I had a horrible experience with this shop, poor communicators, customer service, and craftsmanship. I brought in my 2001 cr250 to have both a top-end and bottom-end rebuilt, the bike was dropped off 06/18. The expected time to finish the rebuild was one month, so 07/18. This did not happen, and the repair time took 2 months. Lee, the service technician I talked to, never informed me of the process and any issues they were running into that would delay the repair. I had to call the shop multiple times just to get a status update on my bike since I haven't heard from the shop in two weeks since I dropped the bike off on 6/18. The bike was completed and picked up on 8/21. During the 2nd ride on the rebuilt motor, with less than 9 hours on the bike , the cylinder's head gasket started to leak. I thought I would call the shop to ask if I could bring the bike in to have them inspect the gasket, and see why it's leaking. Lee informed me they would not take the bike back and repair the gasket under their 90-day warranty. Instead told me that it's normal for 2-strokes to blow gaskets. I was really confused and started to feel like the shop is now trying to scam me and take more money, especially after I paid 1.7k to have the engine rebuilt. Lee instructed me to write him an email with photos of the cylinder head leak, which is the photo I provided here, Lee said he would get back to me through email and never did. Since I wasn't getting any assistance at this shop I decided to take my bike to a different mechanic. See the second photo provided, you can see the gasket wasn't aligned correctly. After paying another $400 in repair fees the bike is no longer leaking. The mechanic at the new shop who repaired the head gasket, had many bikes brought to them from Grand Prix Powersports because of their poor craftsmanship, and customer service.

Most excellent service and helpful advice from the knowledgeable professionals... Drove from Hayward to get my special order parts next day. Every local shop was gonna take a week+. Thank you guys , had me back on 2 wheels in 2 days!

I've been going here for many years from my first bike (Ninja zx6r) to my latest Suzuki Gsxr. The sales staff are friendly and answer whatever questions you have about bikes, promotions, or gear. The service mechanics are no exception. Aside from one mishap about 4 years ago, there was a scratch on the mirror edge they owned up to it and I've been pretty happy and dare I say, trust them with my bike maintenance.

Hi Mark, When you put a question here, it gets pushed to all the people who have done reviews of this business entity. Your question is really for the staff of Grand Prix. You should call them directly to get an answer. Good luck! Greg

Dealerships generally don't rent motorcycles. The potential for damage is too high. Greatest motivation for a rider to be cautious occurs when he/she owns the ride.
