best to buy winter season ticket before your planned trip. they get sold out at location. If your lucky, then you might. but there is a loophole. lets say all tickets are sold out, but you went with a friend who has an (Ikon pass). he can get you you a ticket at the window, if the pass holder says its your first time and he's bringing you as his guests.
