Amazing spot to play in the snow in Big Bear Lake! There are countless areas that make for a perfect sledding course. We had our own private spots to sled throughout the day - even with so many people there that cars were overflowing from the parking lot! There are many picnic tables and spectacular mountain views. They have multiple portable potties. We didnt use them so I cant comment on cleanliness. They didnt seem to smell when we passed though. Next time I might stay at Oak Knolls because they are right across from the park.

We went there in late February after a snowy day but it was still walkable and not that slippery. It’s nice and quiet once you pass the ground area. View wasn’t that great but still pretty nice considering that it wasn’t that hard to get up there. There aren’t that many signs around so you’re on your own lol. Overall I enjoyed my short hike here.

We went on a weekday which was less crowded. Plenty of snow and hills to sled down. You can purchase a pass to park at any store on the area for $5, the places with rental gear usually carry these permits. Great place to come if you have kids big and small.

So for the snow down the way actually before aspen glen park there is a place to rent tubes for the snow. As for aspen glen park itself no it doesnt.
