Worst customer service! I went in to the post office just to renew my PO BOX that I’ve had since 2017 but the post office clerk for some reason tried her hardest to discredit my valid proof of residence. I pulled out my utility bill and she still tried to say that my name was not on it as it was clearly the first line on the bill. I asked her why she was not honoring the letter I received with the list of options I can provide as the letter stated and she simply ignored me and made a sour face which looked like my pugs spokes. The clerk started helping other folks so i waited to get a sane post office clerk to help me out but the angry clerk inserted herself while her coworker assisted me and told her to double check my documents to which my normal clerk responded, her name IS on this document and she IS providing the appropriate proof. Then the angry clerk demanded the normal clerk to show her the documents as if she was above her and started questioning it. Thank God my normal clerk put her foot down. I was already getting heated and ready to put the angry clerk in her place! Im amazed on how pathetic folks can get when they’re not happy with their miserable lives.

I just can’t believe that an agency of federal government can operate so poorly. Post Office handed my package to someone else and the postmaster trying to excuse the office by blaming that I might drop the package somewhere else, when I see almost during every my visit how people bring packages that’s been handed to them by mistake and it belongs to someone else. ( I want to say many thanks to those people) I’ve had my case going for 6 weeks now and I am not going to stop, even will contact to Louis DeJoy until this place get some control on it. I know I can’t get my package back anymore which costed me almost $100.

Do not order amazon to big bear, your package if you are lucky, will sit on a pile and stay there Ordered a package through amazon got a notification it was passed to the local office and couldn't be delivered.. ok.. drive 20 min to place which is almost correct in Google maps. I'm told that most places do not get it delivered because it is mostly rural streets, hence free PO boxes and blame is placed on Amazon.. ok.. then I'm told yes your package is here.. buuut we can't get to it.. they are fixing something in the back and can't access it.. lol.. come back tomorrow... I'm leaving tomorrow... I get a sympathetic sorry ..so if you do decide to risk it and order amazon and it is passed to the usps.. may the odds be ever in your favor.. 2 stars because it is almost funny.

Worst customer service experience ever. There’s a half a dozen employees in the back and not one of them will help find a Mother’s Day package on a Saturday that was confirmed delivered to that location. Everyone is standing around back there, getting paid, unwilling to help someone who simply wants their package for a gift. I’ve heard stories about the employees at this location, but refuse to believe them to be true. This only confirms.

You put the key in it turn it and pull it open. To lock it reverse process. If you drive it would be just like your car door minus the handle.. there might be a possibility that the postmaster has classes on that also on how to open the door I'm guessing it would be free if they did
It is free for those people who have proof of residence. But, you have to go into the Pine Knot post office with your application and I.D. (See website) to get one. Note: it is difficult to receive packages there, so you might want to look at other mail providers on the mountain.
Ok but if I am not a resident how can I open one that I needto
No. But I think you can have your mail addressed as general delivery. I think that's what the P.C.T. hikers do.
Yes
Use your physical address in the first line and either PO box or suite number in the second line
I know of one
