Love this mountain. Just went last week after the storm and snow was great. Have taken several friends here over the years to learn as well. Nice easy trails for beginners, as well as fun intermediate ones for those more experienced. I don't do the diamonds, as I don't enjoy them, but if they are tour jam, Bear offers those as well. Amazing view of the lake from the Bear mountain express. All around great atmosphere. Family friendly and free parking. Bought tickets online and easily obtained them by scanning the QR code at the kiosk. Ticket retrieval was a breeze. No time wasted in line. Got burgers at the grill on the mountain during a break and enjoyed watching the riders come down the mountain while eating.

Snow is usually decent, vibes are great, what else is there to say? For the best experience on weekends, get to the mountain by 7:30am otherwise you're going to be stuck in traffic for hours. The infrastructure there isn't great for traffic.

The place is beautiful but the infrastructure is terrible.. or at least the weekend we went. We went all the way from LA got there at 9am the parkings were already full, we took 2 hours to park… when we finally got to the resort, I went to rent the equipment, was already gone at 11am. I’ve been skiing for a while now and never saw a place that didn’t have equipment anymore. It was so pack, no control of how many people there, lines for everything… meaning I went all the way from ny to visit my friend and ski with her and we couldn’t. Again, the place is nice but def not organized. From an amazing trip it could be, was a very sad one. I should have rent it before but again never happened that in many times I’ve done. I usually don’t write bad reviews but was a very frustrated experience…. We couldn’t barely walk or how many people was there. Plus the front desks ladies are very rude, be prepared for that!

best to buy winter season ticket before your planned trip. they get sold out at location. If your lucky, then you might. but there is a loophole. lets say all tickets are sold out, but you went with a friend who has an (Ikon pass). he can get you you a ticket at the window, if the pass holder says its your first time and he's bringing you as his guests. Thank me later. have fun👍🏻👌🏻🏂
There is a designated tubing slides (a total of 3 slides) with access through magic carpet which they added around 4 years ago.
Yes, any day of the season.
