We also opted for the private tour and it was well worth it. We had a great time and a knowledge guide who was able to make the experience more to our needs.
It depends on what you choose. If you want a semi private tour where there are less people in your group and more time in the water it is more expensive around $120. If you do the tour with more people and less time in the water its around $50. We did the more expensive one and I would do it again.
