What an awesome time out on the water. Jessica did an amazing job throughout the whole tour. She did great with a young girl on board and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Captain Judge certainly knew where to go to find manatees. All around would certainly recommend. Great job guys, cant wait to be back in the winter!

Great experience. Nice store when you check in for the tour. Great guides. Awesome interaction with the manatees... A "must to do" with the family. 3 hour tour, well worth the price. All wetsuits and snorkeling gear is sanitized prior to your use. A professional tour company. We will be back soon.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve done encounters that are 3/4 info and 1/4 encounter but they get you out as quickly as possible to have as much time as you can with the manatees and do not rush at all. Gavin was constantly encouraging everyone to really see them head on and making sure everyone had the same experience so no one felt left out. Also took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable in the water. Captain Dylan was super helpful in pointing the manatees out to give variety and checking in on the group. Both were so knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. Will 10/10 do this again.

Had a great experience with Jessica as our guide and Steve the captain! Up close with several manatees. We were lucky that there was only 2 of us on the boat. A very cold day but the water is always 72 degrees and the wet suits keep you comfortable. Try and go as a small group because the more people in the water the sand gets stirred up and it’s difficult to see.

For sure! Its AMAZING! I recommend the semi private tour and ask for Ricky and Ryans tour! They make sure your trip is the best!
The guides are amazing at finding a few if the resident manatees that stay in the bay all year round.
Not with their guided tours. There are quite a lot of laws and restrictions in regards to the manatees there oh, that was pretty alarming, they take it very seriously
Yes, we don't require you to get in the water but since we only take out small groups of people on our boats each seat on the boat is a paid seat. Each person joining the tour must have a ticket since the seats are limited. I am not sure why some are saying that you can ride free of charge, that has never been our policy. You may find one or two companies that will allow riders on at no charge but they will be taking out large groups of people, some as many as 35 on a boat. We keep our small, semi-private trips, priced in line with other companies large group trips.
So, we just came back from here. My gf saw three manatees and swam with two. May is probably one of the most difficult months to see them because of them liking colder waters. October to February is prime viewing time, so based on that, it would be a great time. My recommendation is to go for the smaller group trip. A little more expensive, but less chances of people making noise and scaring them off.
The earlier your tour the more likely you are to see them. We got to see a crazy number of them. We had cool nighttime temperatures the night before.
Morning tours are the best. The cool air brings the Manatees into the Crystal River Springs area.
Not really, but you need to know how to float and not be afraid of the water
It certainly helps to get the best view of the manatees but not necessary
Not sure about the limit of tours, although I don't think the area suffered too much from the storms. May be best to call on that. My group went out on a Saturday at 10am and it was awesome! We saw a mother and calf and then two more adults up close. Our guides did recommend going earlier in the day for better chances to see them. Hope you get out and get to see some manatees!
It would depend on the number of people you have if it is just you then there is often an opening.
Should be good, there are manatees that reside year round but more come to the springs in the winter because of the warmer water temperature.
I believe they can, they still provide floats if needed.
Best times to go are during the colder weather. The manatees gather there during the winter months. However, we went during the summer and still had a great trip and got to swim with several of the 'resident' manatees (including a mother nursing her calf). I am pretty sure they only offer snorkeling. I do not believe there are any SCUBA packages. However the water is very shallow. Most times less than four or five feet deep.
They have about 40 manatees that stay year round - we was there 2 weeks ago and found some within 2 minutes of leaving the dock!
You can try to go to fun 2 dive, but it is the wrong season. The water is warm so the manatees have migrated. Best time is late fall through early spring.
If your dive time is at 7am then you want to be there before that.
Only 2 in July, but it was great
Was told they are more prevalent then.
U pay in full 69 per person
