They have about 40 manatees that stay year round - we was there 2 weeks ago and found some within 2 minutes of leaving the dock!
Was just there and there were manatees all over the place. Don't worry, there will be plenty. In the winter it's just ridiculous with how many there are but there's still plenty hanging around through the summer.

We dive with 2 Manatees (Mama and Baby) for 1 week ago and it was great!!
Haven't been there in the summer, but were there in late spring after the migration and did see manatees, that we were told were local and live there all year.
We were fortunate to see about 6-7 when we went a few weeks ago. Enjoy!
