What time of year is the absolute best time to dive with manatees? Does your company offer dives to certified divers as well as a discover scuba with non certified divers or only snorkel for non certified diver?

Best times to go are during the colder weather. The manatees gather there during the winter months. However, we went during the summer and still had a great trip and got to swim with several of the 'resident' manatees (including a mother nursing her calf). I am pretty sure they only offer snorkeling. I do not believe there are any SCUBA packages. However the water is very shallow. Most times less than four or five feet deep.

Winter months are when the most manatees are present.
