I live right by this place so I visit there on a near daily basis. You may simply have bad timing. 90% of the time there's plenty of small buggies, but they seem to have waves where everyone and their mom comes at the same time and it is all hands on deck. As far as being helpful is concerned, I've never seen them say no to someone who asked for assistance, ever. If you look healthy then why would they ask if you need help?
People lazy. The store isn't even that far from any of the buggy corrals.
Or it could be upper management not wanting to hire quality employees. There are only 2 employees, that I know of, that have been there over 10 years and they are the only ones that seem to care about their job. Charlene is an absolute delight to see everytime I go in there. But again, the store GM and his management staff aren't very interested in quality employees.
Not enough employee help them and you and apply
They aren't suppose to take tips and how do they know if you can lift or not .All you have to do is ask them to help take your groceries out
I jave never seen the employees be "lazy" I live down the road from there. Everyone is always busy and if their not, they are asking if you need help. I always see the manger on the floor as well. Maybe you are going at busy time of the day or during shift changes.
I wish there were employees that asked to assist to take care of you out groceries. Some of us look healthy but we cannot lift and for those of us that cannot lift please separate heavy items into different bags. Harris Teeter offers great service so I really wish that Food Lion would offer the same courtesy and yes I would like to see more small buggies inside the Food Lion stores. When I get the help I try to tip.
