They do need fosters for kittens. That would be fun.
They do not foster out cats. They might be able to help put you in touch with a couple of rescue groups. You can also contact local vets who can give you some names of rescue groups. Sorry about your kitty. I know exactly how you feel. You should visit the pound. There's a chance you might find a lovely cat to fill your sad heart.
