As far as I know...as long as you are 62 and over, they accept section 8. As far as section 811 which is probably for disabled people, I believe they do as long as your 62 and over.
I am only 54 yrs old but am disabled. HUD said I don't have to be 62 because I am disabled. They're willing to help me with deposit & first months rent if I can find an apt. They said i don't need a voucher because the apt complex should have the application for Section 811. I just can't find a complex that accepts Section 811 that has apts available. They all have a 1 to 2 yr wait list.
