Depends on a few things... 1) the case manager assigned to u; 2) ur willingness and responsibility in meeting with ur case manager periodically; and 3) ur own willingness and responsibility to not depend on ur case manager all the time but to also look for housing on ur own. I personally was there for 3 months but because I found an apt. listing thru "The Hope Team" and started calling numbers for info and finally found a place. Been living here for 5 months now and I got the application, turned it in and came in to sign the lease all on my own. All my case manager did was encourage and applaud my initiative. Good luck.
There is a place behind the daily bread, after the Coalition they help you with housing. The Daily bread is the place that serves lunch for the homeless. Do not rely much on the Coalition or case managers. If you have a job & single WRCC Women resource counseling service might have a bed there. Also if u have kids.
Ivette García what is the name of the place you were able to get an apartment at?
