Not that good at all. They'd rather help people who just arrived in this country than taxpaying residents. Try anywhere else ...REALLY

Went for assistance with food at 9am and they weren't taking anymore walk-ins and it's a week later and have yet to be able to make an appointment through their website
Wanda Ramos de Gonzalez
Called to find out about making furniture donations. No one answered the phone.

I've had a terrible experience with Catholic Charities of Central Florida legal services. My niece has an exclusion/deportation hearing in immigration court coming up in April. We filled out the online form requesting a phone appointment as instructed on Feb. 25, expecting the promised call back within 48 business day hours. No call came during the next couple of weeks. Then we started calling them. But the phone number is apparently set up to go directly to messages. We've left at least three and by today, March 19, have still not been contacted. If staffing is so low that you can't get back to people, it would be helpful if you changed the text on your website and voice mails! Now at this late date, we are looking around for other options,

You must get a referral from 211 for them.
Do you all help with a sercurity deposit
If they can't help you, try calling united way at 211 for additional help.
Call 211 for more assistance on dates and times of food pantry.
They may if its in their budget and its a life or death situation so probably yes
Monday's, Wednesday's, and Fridays 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
8-4....3 is the cut off for food...you can go every 90 days but well worth the food and you get to pick out veggie fruits ,dairy and breads....I got a variety frozen meats hamburger !!
Not sure. Give them a call.
Yes, anything, and everything you have will be very helpful, and would probably speed up the process. I might suggest that you give them a call and explain your situation so that they can be sure to have all the paperwork you need. They are very helpful, and efficient at what they do. The earlier the better. I believe around 8 am. If I can assist you in any way further, just ask.
Amen thank you very much. They work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 to 12:30 but must be before the end time because it will not be attended. You must carry the passports of your entire family group whenever you go. If you go for an example tomorrow, Thursday the 10th, you will have to go back on July 10 or every 3 months because you are in control. It is very good they donate enough food the earlier they arrive they will give more I hope I have been a great help. Happy afternoon
No unfortunately they don't do that just the food the rent I think electric or something like that but we just went there for the food
If you can't go to the office in person, try calling the United way at 211 for assistance.
Call us at 407-658-1818 and ask about the FSP program, if it stops go to Suite B.
They do not need documentation to receive food aid.
Online https://cflcc.org Type of appointment depends on need, you can translate the website.
I wouldn't know that because I've only gone for food pantry 😃
Every sunday
Please call 211 for assistance.
Please contact the Family Stability Department using https://cflcc.org/financial-assistance/
Hello this week I visited the place on Tuesday and today Thursday morning they open at 9 am and I have seen people queuing for help
Phone them.
Thank you so much !!
Catholic Charities gives out food every Monday,Wednesday and Friday morning from 0900-1100 or so depending on how much they have (except during hard rain days). They also have a list of resources. Go there and register and they may have some help for you or a place to direct you to.
no, unfortunately not.
I believe it's on Wednesday, but they may have another day that they run the pantry, I would call to make sure so you don't waste a trip there. I wish you luck.
The Salvation Army
Why don't you try giving them a call and ask them on the telephone
Give them a call on Monday they can tell you what they do pick up what the allow you to bring in
Give them a call they will tell you
They go from 8-11 am, then 12-3 pm. You're eligible to visit the food pantry every 60 days. Bring all of your paper work, and ID's.
I have a good friend that went through a similar situation. It did not lead to thier undocumented situation, but the parents may be asked to show the child's birth certificate to verify that their the parents. They can not apply for them selves.
Contact the Salvation Army they might be able to help you for a while.
You need to bring a bill or a lease that proves that you live here in Florida or Orlando you need to bring Social Security's for every person living in your household because they'll give you food according to how many people you have in your home and IDs do you need photo IDs and or passport anything that identifies you driver's license and if you have IDs for the people that live with you that's a plus but they do ask for social securities lease letter with your address on it a bill is more profitable for you to take their as far as her I was going really not sure you can Google their location and that information is there for you as well as their phone number and you can call ahead of time and let them know that you need that kind of information
I think so but T Goodwill, they have an employment office
Knowing how I get out or if you can help me help in court to get rid of that warrant in Orlando
Just go and they send you to the right place a list of places they help to pay rent. Ok GBU
see www.ShepherdsHope.org for locations, or go to the nearest Community Health Centers location.
Ok thank u
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Hi, not sure if they can help but you can try. Also call 211 for back up listing of places that may have funding.
Yes they do. Just go and ask for your help.GBU🙏🏼
Try going there with bill and your identification. Also try calling United way at 211. Good blessings!
At Caridades Catolicas there is a team of Lawyers who advise and help you with your case. In addition, you and your family can receive food and clothing in good condition. You must go personally and inquire.
Good afternoon. Certainly the telephone exchange has a fault and redirects calls improperly. You should take some time and go personally to make the appointment. Otherwise, insist on a telephone call, but do not select the Spanish option. When the answering machine starts to speak, press 1, there are always bilingual operators and they will attend you.
Try calling 211 which is the United way charity. They may be able to direct you to the help you need.
Yes. Get there early for best chance.
Its possible but unlikely...but the food stamp office offers emergency cash assistance
No..the state handles that..apply for food stamps and name the father..the state will go after him or just call legal aid if you qualify
No. They wont. Pregnant needing help with deposit so I am not homeless. They say call 211 and they say no.
Please go to the google maps and website, I believe the information you require is there and there telephone number. God bless you.
Get up close on English programs, I don't know if they have, but there is legal advice. I recommend ADULT LITERACY LEAGUE at W Michigan St. # 100, 32806. It is a complete program for English and you only give a small contribution when you enroll, IT IS A WONDERFUL PROGRAM!
If you call 211 u may have a best chance to solve your problem. They have legal assistance but I'm not sure if they do divorces.
Hello, Congratulations if you entered by political asylum if I went through the offices
Sorry to say but when we needed help with a bill they didn't come through with the help.we called over and over and no one answered the call.
Yes. They can also help with other basic needs.
They can help you with shelter and food but as for finding you a place to rent, I don't know. Good luck and may the Lord be with you.
They do not help with prescriptions, but try calling 211 for guidance on getting help.
You have to go there in person with ss card and id or drivers license..they will help with food..cash.. possibly electric bills.. depending on situation
Call 211 to find out your options. They will make an appointment for you for the appropriate agency that may help you.
Good afternoon, I will visit you and I am waiting for an appointment, but it has been 2 months now and maybe I should do something else, I do not know if someone can guide me
Only to the refugees population
