Coouples to stay together need to be married & have children. They have dorms for single ladies & in the same grounds the bldg for single men. Also you need to apply, there is a waiting list in the shelters here. But call 211 they can tell you where are beds available. Good Luck
If a couple has children or child they can live together if not on the same property. They do charge about $12 a week but if you don't have income they don't turn you away it's waved until you start working. They help you find work and daycare if you need it. They even have small aparrme t's for people transitioning into their own place. Hope everyone here finds shelter. I have family they're and they're getting a lot of help. Oh, if you're fleeing domestic violence they try to place you immediately.
