Is CapTel Breast feeding mother friendly if you work 32 hours a week? Will they compensate you for the time you need to pump? I can't afford formula and have to pump to feed my baby when I go back full time and I am worried

I don't think it matters how many hours you work HR will accommodate any 'medical'/'health' thing with extra aux time you just have to tell them you need it and fill out the form so they can document it, and from how it was explained to me if you have been approved for the time (which there's no way you wouldnt for that) you can use it throughout the day however you need it you just mark on your shift tracker when you want it applied so that it can be adjusted properly for your adherence.

🙋 ‍♀️ Breastfeeding mama here, current employee! Yes they are! you don't get paid for the time but they do add extra aux time to your lunch break if you need more than the 30 minutes to pump. The pumping room I use has no windows and a plug, but it's a multi purpose room so I can't bring food in there unfortunately. I just eat on my 15 min breaks to make up for that, but I get my 30 min lunch plus 20 mins to pump (unpaid but helpful). My son is 5mos and I breastfeed when I'm with him and pump once for every 4 hours I work. EVERYWHERE YOU ARE EMPLOYED has to allow you adequate pumping time and a space to do so!! I didn't mention it until I was hired but honestly people are really more understanding than you think about pumping breastmilk for your baby. I also worked at Ross and it wasn't even a second thought for my manager to say extra lunch time would be fine and give me a room to pump in. Oh and you have to go to HR to request it ☺

My fiance works there and yes they are. She gets an extra 20 min to pump added to her lunch break. It's unpaid but with the extra time she pumps fully. And legally they have to allow you as much time as you need to accomadate breastfeeding mothers. Every mom is different. But no it's not paid time.
