Thank you Aubrey for your advice but I wasn't charged with anything. I'm asking for a friend and I'm very concerned that after two weeks there is still no court date. So maybe due to "COVID" they are behind.
That's a very vague question... you can file a request for a restraining order and be seen in a few days... or you could file a small claims case and be seen in a few weeks. Or maybe you were charged with something criminal and your court date could be months away
