In their defense... when you have a lot full of identical cars it might be easier and faster for them to do this in order to expedite for the customer. For a customer's car this shouldn't happen for a service... BUT I am sure that the customer appreciates them locking their car up until they come and retrieve it, this will make the alarm "chirp". I worked nights for many many years, you just have to learn to deal with it as the rest of the world continues a normal business day around your sleeping schedule...
