I can't afford to take care of my pet anymore, can I just drop him off there for him to get a change of a better future?

Amber, if you can you should call a bunch of rescues first. Getting a rescue to take your pet will make sure he/she had a good future. The West LA shelter is really nice tho. Good luck Good luck

Omg woman...don't ever get another pet.

It should be a last resort after trying friends, family and private rescues. The shelter is open 24/7 to receive pets. Just ring the bell if it's after normal business hours. They will need to see a picture ID and there is a fee ($25 for dogs $22 for cats and $11 for rabbits).
